| Description of Services: | A telephone reassurance program where volunteer callers phone lonely, isolated or frail older adults, providing friendly conversation, security and reassurance * volunteers call according to a pre-arranged schedule * if the volunteer is unable to reach the client, the agency will follow up until we establish that the client is safe and sound * provides ongoing support to clients and can help clients access additional services as their needs change * volunteer opportunities available (apply online) * also provides security check-in calls | ||
