Description of Services: Halton Healthcare offers a complimentary patient email service for individuals who cannot come to the hospital for a visit
  • Send a greeting via email by providing the full name of the patient in the subject line, including room number or unit, if known * a volunteer will print the message, seal it and arrange for delivery * volunteers are unable to open attachments * greetings will only be delivered to current inpatients that have chosen to be listed in the hospital directory * hospital is not responsible for e-mails that are misdirected, lost or accidentally deleted from the message system
  • Pet visits must be pre-arranged and are limited to dogs, including guide dogs
  • Video Calling Feature is now available on all bedside patient entertainment terminals, making it easier for patients to connect with their loved ones while staying in the hospital * this service is completely free for patients and families and does not require any device rental
