Organization: Salvation Army (The) - Hamilton - Meadowlands Adult Day Service

Description of Services: Adult day program * social, recreational, and therapeutic activities for frail elderly adults and for people with Alzheimer's disease and other related dementia in a group setting for part of the day * helps to support family caregivers who provide day-to-day care

Programs are designed to meet a variety of needs and interests and assist people to achieve and maintain their maximum level of functioning, postpone or prevent institutionalization

  • medication reminders
  • personal care assistance
  • daily exercise program

Fees: Meadowlands Program: $21 per day including a full course meal
